Hi, I'm Joe. I'm a twenty-something photographer, developer, and modern day thinker. Born and raised in the suburbs of New York City, I ventured up north to attend the Rochester Institute of Technology where I received my BS in Information Technology with a minor in Economics. Prepared for the world, I followed my big city dreams to New York City.
During the day I work on Wall Street as a Risk Management Analyst \ Developer for a major financial firm. At night I become a superhero and save Gotham from villains (or so I like to think).
I have a passion for photography, a fascination with architecture, a love for music, a never-ending desire for coffee, and a weakness for bacon (yes, bacon). I'm a bit of an info-junkie, and even though I consume volumes of information online on a constant basis, having words printed on paper in my hand are what I enjoy best.
While my photographic appreciation is wide, I have a strong interest in photojournalism and capturing candid moments. I'll easily admit that I'm a Canon fan, even though I truly believe a camera of any brand is only as good as the photographer using it. My current photography toolkit consist of:
At the end of a shoot I make my photos come to life on my Macbook Pro with Adobe Lightroom 3 & Photoshop CS3.
My development knowledge is a mixture of personal interest and career\business necessity. It breaks down a little like this:
